For your consideration I have this early version Montblanc Meisterstück 144 Classique Fountain Pen. The pen is fitted with a 14K-585 mono-tone solid gold nib in a Medium point. These nibs have a nice bounce to them and are considered superior to the modern Montblanc nibs that are much more stiff. This is the early version of the 144 featuring a monotone nib, a ribbed feed and resin section threads. The section has no inner threads, so it only takes a push-in converter (modern Montblanc screw-in converters do not fit). The later version had a two-tone nib, a finned feed, brass section threads and inner section threads for a screw-in converter.

The clip ring is marked'W-GERMANY'. The cap is engraved "UWE HAHN". The pen is never used and in mint condition. The original Montblanc push-in converter is included.
