Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Fountain Pen, which comes with an izods presentation box. The pen has been carefully used over the years and is presented in overall lovely condition - the yellow gold trim is crisp and the black precious resin has a deep glow. There is some plating loss to the nib, but this doesn't effect the writing experience. This example comes fitted with a lovely broad 14c bi-tone nib and when combined with the single-unit barrel and split ebonite feed, this would place it originally between 1975-85. The clip ring features only Germany markings. Being a 149, this is a piston filling pen and it's extremely smooth. The important details are as follows..
