A rare patron of the arts Queen Elizabeth 1 limited edition 888 fountain pen by montblanc. This one has never been used never been inked. Montblanc have released a patron of the arts limited edition every year since 1992 and the Queen Elizabeth 1 is from 2010.This is the rare 888 edition very hard to find today. The pen is made from a red translucent lacquer with solid 18K gold fittings, at the top of the cap is the famous montblanc emblem made from mother of pearl, just below this is the limited edition number this one is number 345 / 888. At the end of the clip is a genuine Emerald gemstone. The pens cap is screw on and the pen is a piston filler. The pens nib is made from 18K gold and is a M= medium in size.
The pen comes complete with its presentation case (outer boxes and booklet not included) note: the interior of the presentation case is flaking and worn.
