1950's Montblanc Celluloid 149 Fountain Pen. A lovely example of a vintage Montblanc's 149 pen. Made from celluloid, with silver rings to the cap. With ski slope feed and telescoping filler mechanism.

With a beautiful extra fine 14k flexible nib. A lovely example of an early 149 pen. In very good vintage condition.

The pen body has not been polished. There are various scratches and signs of use.

Threads with a fine vertical split (doesn't effect cap). Feed and nib in good condition. Telescoping mechanism moves up and down freely. There is ink getting behind cork, so this should be replaced. Silver rings are quite tight.

Star to cap shows a nice mellow colour. Overall a very good pen which hasn't been restored.
