MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCK 146 FOUNTAIN PEN. For your consideration I have this gorgeous and extremely rare first generation Montblanc Meisterstück 146 Fountain Pen. This is very first version of the 146 with a flat ebonite ski-slope feed that was made from 1946 to 1955.

Barrel and cap in celluloid with an ivory colored Montblanc star on top of the cap. The pen is fitted with a 14K-585 two-tone flexible nib in Medium point. (writes from M to BB+). The cap ring is marked "- MONTBLANC - MEISTERSTÜCK ". The pen features a telescopic piston mechanism. The piston knob is marked'146' and'M.

The piston needs a new seal/cork. It runs smoothly doesn't draw ink. The lower thin cap ring is missing and the two remaining rings can be rotated easily. Otherwise cosmetically the pen is in very good condition with for its age just light signs of hand and desk wear.
