14C 250 EF Flex Nib. Just serviced with new cork. Works and writes as when new. Made in Germany, 1939 1st year issue. Ultra rare MINT 250 EF FULL Flex nib... Model 139 do not get any better than this.. Very few of these 1st issue 139 were given these 14C nibs, Most have Palladium nibs. These were pre order and they used nibs Montblanc already had in stock from models 129. During 1939-45 Germany had a ban on ALL Gold manufacture that was non military purpose. After 1941 even steel nibs were used. However these original (1st year ONLY) 14C nibs are the rarest ones and best writers. This chap can write ALL line widths.

A nib so creative its only limitation is the imagination and writing ability of its user. These wonderful pens are FULL size SENIOR model. These have the highly sought after Metal Telescopic Pistons. The finest pistons ever made. Fills to the max every time as when NEW.

ULTRA RARE to find one of these early 139 with perfect working piston. Just serviced with new Cork. This is the best telescopic piston action I have used on one of these. As good as it gets... This one worth breaking the bank for... The pen itself is made of Celluloid and BHR (Black Hard Rubber). The Celluloid Barrel has beautiful Scarlet Amber see through EXTRA Long lined Window for viewing your ink reserve inside the pen. Only 1st issue have these Demonstrator length windows. Zero Cracks or Splits even in the threads etc. The Cap, Piston Housing D. Blind Cap (L139) and Front Section (part you hold when writing) are ALL Black Hard Rubber. The Clip is unique size 9 Tie Clip that everyone loves. These were the 1st Montblanc Pen to EVER have the 3 Ring Bands on the cap with Central wide Band reading Montblanc-Meisterstuck.

The x2 outer slimmer rings are Solid Silver. The Caps Top with White Star logo is BHR with Casein Whiter Star.

Of course the real Star of the show with this pen has to be that phenomenal Connoisseur Grade 14C 250 EFR Flex Nib. What a wonderful writer this is.

A simple JOY to use. It writes with a Fine line that has Extra Fine line side stroke. Also quite user friendly for such a fine nib. However this nib also has flexibility that allows for even more line width variation on the down stroke when varying levels of pressure is applied. It can flex from Extra Fine all the way to Double Broad.

The flex is not soft, loose or twitchy. Only flexes on user command never by itself. The nib has zero damage and its Iridium Tips are good to last several more lifetimes. Comes in its ULTRA RARE original Fitted Red Box. Comes ready to write just add your favorite colour bottled ink...
