Montblanc 225 14K EF Extra Fine Nib Piston Filler With Box Japan. Just to be clear, I don't believe this is a Japanese made pen. I have listed it as made in Germany. This lovely Montblanc has a brushed steel cap and matte black barrel. The nib is Extra Fine but similar to other flat top MBs from the same period the nib is still smooth and offers very little resistance.
The nib is still in great shape and has a simple 585 stamp in the middle, marking it out as a 14K nib. The cap and clip are really well kept, with just a few marks to the base of the cap (visible in the photos). There's a bit of dirt on the cap finial and top of the clip, I did give it a clean but some more elbow grease might do the trick. The snowflake on the piston has a bit of dirt and what seems to be a minor crack I didn't notice it when inspecting the pen, only later when checking the photos.
Anyone concerned about this can message me. The barrel and section are both in very good shape with no visible marks or scratches. The piston works well and the screw and piston head have been greased with silicone gel after the final cleaning.
