The pen is made from black precious resin with platinum plated trim, at the end of the clip is a synthetic blue sapphire gemstone. The pens cap is screw on and the cap can be fitted to the opposite end when in use. The pen is a cartridge filler only and the Boheme has a nifty retractable nib. The pens nib is made from 14K two tone gold and is a M= medium in size.
