The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition. Part of the Donation Series, this example pays tribute to George Gershwin, the American composer and pianist. The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim being platinum-plated. The clip is shaped like a clarinet, which is a nod to the clarinet opening from Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". The design of the cap ring is inspired by the Brooklyn Bridge, which links to his close relationship with his city of birth.
