The pen was only inked once and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 1901 were produced and this is number 1743. The Great Characters series has seen many famous names honoured by Montblanc and the Walt Disney limited edition is a wonderful writing instrument. The overall shape of the pen is inspired by the Monorail system, with the cap featuring the groundbreaking multiplane camera, invented by Disney - this is depicted in lacquered inlays with the rest of the cap being platinum-plated. The barrel is a real treat on this pen, with it being possible to rotate it to reveal a Mickey Mouse design, reminscent of a flickering scanimation effect. The smokestack shaped clip is a nod to "Steamboat Willie". The pen is fitted with an 18k extra fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
