A rare Heritage collection 1912 limited edition 1000 fountain pen by montblanc. This one has never been used never been inked its in mint perfect condition.

When i first received this pen although unused there was a issue as the pen would not draw up ink as it should so i sent the pen to Montblancs service repair center in Hamburg Germany for repair. The Montblanc Heritage collection is a tribute to the story of Montblanc. This edition is limited to only 1000 ever made and this one is number 0393. A oversize pen much larger than a 149 see photos for scale. The pen is made from black precious resin and finished in platinum plated trim, at the top of the cap is the large mother of pearl Montblanc emblem, below this on the clip ring is the limited edition number.

The cap is screw on and the pen has a unique two stage retractable nib and piston filler system, torn the end of the pen to reveal and retract the nib then pull the end of the pen out a fraction to engage the piston filling mechanism.
