Launched in 2021, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition, this pen was released to commemorate the renowned crime novelist Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Taking its inspiration from Sherlock Holmes - the barrel and cap are crafted from a blue-grey resin, reflecting the London fog. The plaid pattern is a reference to Holmes's coat and parts of the historic London map.

The initials JB (Joseph Bell) can be found under the PVD-coated, magnifying glass-shaped clip, which is a nod to the man who inspired the Sherlock Holmes character.
