A tribute to one of the most talented and beloved figures in the history of popular music. The Liverpool-born musician achieved international recognition as a member of The Beatles performing to adoring fans all over the world. However, it was his solo work after the band dissolved which established him as a cultural icon in his own right.

Not only was John Lennon admired for his music contribution, he was also considered a great thinker, an independent mind and a true visionary whose influence shaped the intellectual mood of an era. This rare Artisan Edition features an ingenious 18K solid white gold skeleton overlay , with the word "Imagine" encircling the barrel in honor of Lennon's greatest solo hit.

The clip, inspired by Lennon's guitar, is set with a blue sapphire. Rare Extra Fine (EF) 18K gold nib engraved with Lennon's self-portrait. The pen comes in a large lacquered display box (with matching slipcover also with embossed song lyrics) with a copy of the "Imagine" lyrics written on the Hilton hotel's note paper and a booklet as well.

Limited to only 70 creations worldwide. Unavailable from Montblanc and scarce on the secondary market. Fully working and ready to write. Just dipped for a couple of (important) signatures. This fountain pen measures capped 146 mm (5,74 inches).
