MONTBLANC Master of Marble Homage to Michelangelo Limited Edition 96 Fountain Pen. The cap top draws inspirtion from St. Peters Basilica in Vatican City, designed by Michelangelo, which serves as the most renowned work of Renaissance architecture. The overall design is inspired by the iconic David.
The design pattern of the cone is inspired by Michelangelos twisted sculpture. The clip has the shape of woorking tool for marble.
The cap ring is inspired by the Mystery of the 33rd Tooth from the Michelangelos painting of the Delphic Sibyl. The marble metamorphosis from cap to barrel reflects the progression of Michelangelos artistic style: polish ath the very beginning of his carrer to rough finishing (semi matt) and deep rough finishing matt (non finito). Montblanc emblem made from mother of pearl. Au 750 solid white gold fittings. Solid Carrara white marble cap and barrel.
The captop is set with 2 floating diamonds pointing to each other under the dome. The pen comes in as-new condition together with all original boxes, papers and packaging.
