Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 114 Mozart Czar Nikolai I Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer), CD and unstamped service guide. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. They were available in two versions, vermeil and platinum plated. This is the vermeil (gold-plated over sterling silver) version and when contrasted with the vibrant green malachite cap, it really is a very striking writing instrument.

Malachite was chosen for this pen because it was the stone of the Russian Czars. The intricate detailing is beautiful and the gold-plated barrel and trim provide a brightness but at the same time never a brash look.

The appropriate France and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring. The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and being a Mozart, it's a cartridge only pen. The important details are as follows..
