Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck Bordeaux Resin Gold Line 146 LeGrand AG925 Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and unstamped paperwork. The pen has only been lightly used and is presented in lovely condition - the gold trim is bright and the Bordeaux precious resin has a deep shine. There are some light marks on the nib, although this doesn't effect the writing experience - we've included a photo showing the marks but please keep in mind that these is taken under extreme macro conditions. We've always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80's and then for a second time in the 1990's - they're now very difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.

The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone extra fine nib. This is the rare Vermeil version, which features an AG925 sterling silver cap, which is then gold plated. These examples work particularly well with the Bordeaux resin and the overall effect is stunning.

The piston mechanism is extremely smooth and fills as it should. The important details are as follows.. 14K Bi-Tone Extra Fine Nib. Serial Number and Germany markings present. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication - "izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens".
