Montblanc Meisterstuck 149, 18c tri tone Medium nib, ebonite feed, 1960s VGC. A legendary Montblanc 149 from the 1960s era for sale from my personal collection. The pen features an 18c tri tone nib and a half face double linear grooved ebonite feed. The Medium grade nib has to be written with to fully appreciate why MB149s of this era are so sought after. It glides on paper and has a softness that is hard to describe in words.

The black resin body and cap are nice and shiny with faint traces of use. The gold plating is nice and shiny. The piston moves well and draws ink as it should. The stiriped ink window is clean. The pocket clip band is marked GERMANY with no serial number, as this is consistent with MB149s of 1960s.

The snowcap is nice and white. Pen was last used with green ink and has been properly flushed for the new owner. The pen is in amazing condition especially considering that its nearly 60 years old.
