MONTBLANC MEISTERSTUCK 146 LEGRAND SOLITAIRE GOLD BARLEY FOUNTAIN PEN. A legrand 146 Solitaire gold barley fountain pen by Montblanc. This one has been used however hardly at all so is presented in excellent condition throughout. A rare early model from the Solitaire range dating from circa 1988. The pen is made almost entirely from brass with 22K gold plate and finished in stunning barley pattern, at the top of the cap is the famous Montblanc emblem.

Around the clip ring it reads W. Germany no serial number as this pen pre dates the 1991 introduction of serial numbers. Around the center gold band it reads Montblanc Meisterstuck no146. The pens cap is screw on and the pen is a piston filler so will require a ink bottle to fill. The pens nib is stunning made from 18K two tone gold and is a M= medium in size.
