Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 1625 LeGrand Solitaire Vermeil Rollerball Pen, which comes with its large presentation box (including black outer) and unstamped paperwork. The pen appears to have been very lightly used and as such is presented in wonderful condition. This particular pen is the much rarer solitaire vermeil version, with the barrel and cap being AG925 sterling silver (correct hallmarks included) and then gold plated.

In my opinion these solitaire pens elevate the usual look of the standard resin offerings to another level. The vermeil trim provides a brightness but at the same time never a brash look. The appropriate Germany and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring, along with the word METAL3 which was used by Montblanc for Doue and Solitaire pens. You'll find these on several Montblanc pens including the Nikolai.

The number ranged from 1-8 depending on the colour of the gold being used. The important details are as follows..
