The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition. The M sticker, confirming a medium nib, can still be found on the barrel and the empty demonstration cartridge remains inside the pen. The design of the pen is inspired by the iconic Ferragamo high-heels, that Monroe often wore.

The white barrel and cap are a nod to the famous white dress that she wore in "The Seven Year Itch". The shape of the clip, with its pearl at the end, recalls her love of jewellery. The trim is Champagne-gold coated. The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and it's a cartridge only filler.
