149 Fountain Pen in Montblanc Crystal and Precious Resin stand and matching inkwell. Thank you for looking at my Montblanc No. 149 fountain pen with its Montblanc crystal and precious resin stand and matching Montblanc inkwell. This writing instrument has a HUGE reputation and is considered by many to be epitome of Montblanc pens. The stand and inkwell are long out of production. The Nib is 18kt gold. It has been created from a solid block of precious resin, prepared and polished so that t designed lustrous, surface reflects all that Montblanc represents. Condition 8/10: No box or papers for either. The lifting lid of the inkwell is somewhat tarnished and the plastic insert a little discoloured. Both the inkwell and pen stand are in perfect working order, as is the pen itself.
