Elizabeth I built up 16th century England into a world power and created the foundation for a historic age of culture. Montblanc honors surely the most famous female monarch of Great Britain with an edition consisting of two fountain pens of the very finest quality: the Limited Edition Patron of Art Elizabeth I is limited to 4810 fountain pens and in an even finer edition limited to 888 writing instruments. The brilliant lacquer of both writing instruments is modeled on the royal garments of Elizabeth I.

With the Tudor rose and the cross of the British Crown, the royal insignia put their stamp on the cap, which is crowned with a green cabochon on the clip. In addition the words Video et taceo engraved on the cap ring recall the supreme principle of Elizabeth Is government.
