MONTBLANC WRITERS LIMITED EDITION MARCEL PROUST BALLPOINT PEN. A rare writers limited edition Marcel Proust ballpoint pen by Montblanc.

Montblanc have released a writers limited edition every year since 1992 and the Marcel Proust is from 1999 and is one of the best most sought after writers editions made. This one has been used however it is presented in wonderful condition only very light traces of previous use. The pen is made from solid sterling silver octagonal shape with floral decoration.

As a great writer and thinker, Marcel Proust always strove for the maximum depth of detail and precision - an aspiration shared by the Writers Edition Marcel Proust. The eight-sided barrel, with its delicate engravings, recalls the style prevailing in Proust's most creative period and, like the fittings, consists of 925 sterling silver. The barrel is also decorated by the engraved signature of the writer. At the top of the pen is the famous Montblanc emblem and on the side of the clip it reads Montblanc and has the famous writers signature, and the limited edition number. The pen works with a twist mechanism and is fitted with a working black ink refill.
