A rare writers limited edition Scott Fitzgerald fountain pen by Montblanc. Montblanc have released a writers limited edition every year since 1992 and the Scott Fitzgerald is from 2002. This one has never been used its new never been inked. The pen is made from black and marbled white precious resin in a art deco style with 925 sterling silver trim. The Roaring twenties were the age of extravagance and Art Deco.

The people of its jazz age generation had a ball with the Charleston and champagne - and F. Scott Fitzgerald was their idol. Although Fitzgerald enjoyed the high-society life, in his outstanding works such as "The Great Gatsby" and "The Side of Paradise" he drew a subtle psychological portrait of the hedonistic America of the 1920's, which allowed the inescapable tragedy beneath the glittering surface to show through. Scott Fitzgerald revives the glamour of the roaring twenties.

The shimmering white barrel forms a striking contrast to the black precious resin cup, which is decorated by the signature of F. The cap rings and the clip made of 925 sterling silver allude to the imposing architecture of the period. Dignified tribute is paid to the origins of the legendary Art Deco style by the delicately engraved 1920's urban skyline that decorates the rhodium-plated 18-carat gold nib.

At the top of the pen is the famous Montblanc emblem and on the barrel has the famous writers signature, and the limited edition number. The pen is a piston filler so requires a ink bottle to fill, the nib is made from 18K gold and is a M= medium in size.
