Vintage Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Fountain Pen No. 149 -14K Nib -Vintage

Vintage Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Fountain Pen No. 149 / 14 K God Nib. My late mother bought this pen in Germany pre-1982.

It was pre-1982 when there were not serial numbers on this pen. I have done extensive research on this.

The nib is 14K and it is a beautiful stroke when writing with it. Since listing this, I have emptied out all the ink and have done my best to clean it. This also comes with a carrying case which is soft leather and has a slip-in for the pen.

The case is a little scratched on the back, but it protected the pen all these years. This is absolutely guaranteed to be authentic and genuine.

The pen is in good to very good condition made out of a gorgeous and still shiny black resin. It you look at it with a 10-power magnifier you will see some slight scratches, but not visible to the human eye. There is a reason Meisterstuck translates into Masterpiece. This masterpiece No 149 has it all!

The rim around the bottom part of the pen's top reads Mont Blanc Meisterstuck No 149. On the front of the nib are the markings 4810, the Mont Blanc M emblem, 14K and 585.

I research the meanings of these numbers and markings and heres what I found. The height of the actual. Meters from sea level M in the six-pointed star circle. Logotype and 585 is AU 585 or.

There is also a Mont Blanc emblem (symbolizing the snow-covered peak of Mont Blanc) on the top of the cap. The case is a smooth leather case which fits the pen perfectly. It has a small white mountain cap Mont Blanc logo on the slip in strip. The back of the case says Mont Blanc and the Hamburg.

The pen measures 5 7/8 inches long. The case is 6 long.
